The seeds of our club, which were sown in 2009, were transplanted a few times before they finally took root in the Penn Valley Park in 2011.

Why bocce? Bocce is a gentle, non-contact sport that anyone can play: youngsters, the middle-aged, the elderly, men, women, families or singles. Bocce is economical; it doesn’t require a great deal of money for equipment and none at all for special clothing. Many courts, including ours, even have handicapped access.

By promoting bocce, we are inviting you to have wholesome fun, to meet people and interact socially with them while getting a little exercise and experiencing the outdoors.
